So far, I've made a Text Twist Clone and a Korean Chess Game Recorder.

The only "improvements" I can mention are how I structure my files and code. I struggle to display another one because the Games and Creation department is producing a lot of masterpieces.

The overall look and feel (artsyle and controls) reminded me of this game... not to mention the frantic nature that's absent in most games today.

Yup. It had something to do with doing things in proper order. So, here's themap:load() and I'll try to discuss the things I've done: function themap:load() -- From function setupMap() mapWidth = 60 mapHeight = 60 -- Switched the order from setupMap->setupTileset to setupTileset->setupMap setupTiles...

Many times you make a game - you don't want to re-invent stuff.... That's actually why Game Engines with Templates were made. But one thing I like about Love2D is that it "forces you to re-invent the wheel" so that you can appreciate how those wheels function. Anyway, I think this is by far the lib...
