Re: Max Downforce - arcade racer

Nice remake of Out Run time pseudo-3d racer game, I really like the sound changes when passing through tunnels. This works perfectly on Linux on an ARM based (RK3288, 32bits) Asus C201 Chromebook with mesa Panfrost driver :). The official ARM Mali driver didn't accelerate Löve at all, as it only man...

The, same didn't realize how to play at first, very nice game, I played non-strip on it for at least one hour :). Nice picture, nice music, and really stressing when at high speed :).

Re: Textured Polygons for All!

Really nice library :). There is a problem with the zoom. it uses 0,0 map coordinates as centre of the zoom instead of the current view central position.

Re: [library/wip] Löve Bone: 2D Skeletal Animations

About 2d skeletal animation formats: The open source 2d animation studio, Synfig, also has a skeletal format: https://synfig.org/ File format description is here: https://wiki.synfig.org/Sif_Format A more standard format is probably SVG? The hierarchy can be managed by Inkscape, but still not animat...

Re: Vectorfield Visualization

So nice, thank you very much for your work and license ! I'm starting for few month using/testing lua & löve very slowly. Didn't coded a lot for a while, busy with too much things, I progress with very slow steps one or two time every n weeks ^^. I would like to do something with crowd (probably ani...

Re: Vectorfield Visualization

Really nice stuff, I like to see the incredible behaviour of the curved line, especially twirlings. This could be used as the basis of lot of nice effects. I don't see any license for your code. Can it be used as a lib or something like that?

Re: Composite sprites

There is Synfig too as free software for 2d skeletal animation. It can export in SVG format, sadly, Löve2D doesn't support SVG currently.

http://www.synfig.org/

But anyway, I believe that with the nice handmade pixelart artwork of Laperen, this kind of technic's are really useless.

well, in 80's European microcomputers (like zx spectrum/oric/amstrad/To7/Mo5), and probably American vic20/C64 that was less than 200~300€ for the most advanced (in today $vs€ values that's most expansive, but that was probably less than $150/$200 at this time. PC computers only was successful at th...

Re: OpenGLES with ARM Mali GPU and Linux X11 desktop

The package is only build with ./configure --prefix=/usr, I compiled myself several version, all have the same issue, no chroot is used: https://archlinuxarm.org/packages/armv7h/love/files/PKGBUILD I seen it can be improved with --enable-gme and libgme dependency (already packaged on archlinuxARM). ...

OpenGLES with ARM Mali GPU and Linux X11 desktop

Hi all, I try to use Löve on an Asus chromebook C201, featuring a Rockchip RK3288 ARM SoC. It uses a Mali-T764 (4 cores version of the T760 ) GPU, Midgard architecture. I use the ARM binary blob driver for X11 (release r6p0) for RK3288 SoC (Firefly on ARM site), with native (not Crouton inside chrom...
