Re: How to tween a parabola?

See the formula I used in tween_parabola: 1-(t*2-1)^2 So: t.parab = function(s) return 1-(s*2-1)^2 end I think when the (Y) value of the goal is bigger than the (Y) value of the origin it has an opposite arc and reversing the at. just makes it wobble. Anyway to always make the arc one that goes up ...

Re: Function to outline texts

OK, in performance overall it doesn't really .after (though there's a lot of UI text ). Thanks. But you can render the text and keep it as a canvas before you need to update it. Actually you can pre-render the font and use the font sprites with any outlines for it. Wow, that seems like the least hea...

Re: Function to outline texts

Okay, yes. Now it works. But now I'm curious which takes more CPU, my version or your shader version?

Re: Function to outline texts

No, but this works a little for me, when I make it letter for letter. local op = love.graphics.print function love.graphics.print(texty, x, y, ang, sx, sy, ...) if NO_DOUBLE_TEXT then return op(texty, x, y, ang, sy, sx, ...) end sx = sx or 1 sy = sy or 1 local font = love.graphics.getFont() for xx =...

Re: Function to outline texts

Re: Function to outline texts

I have the same problem. It appears that a shader is the answer. https://bgolus.medium.com/the-quest-for-very-wide-outlines-ba82ed442cd9 Edit: I made this some time ago: https://love2d.org/forums/viewtopic.php?p=221215#p221215 - It's not enough for my purposes because I need wider outlines, but may...
