Re: Over two frames of lag in mouse movement

Huh so far i have understood it any lag is caused because the calculations begin right after a frame was pushed to the monitor and is significantly faster than a frame, then the program stays idle for almost an entire frame until this now old calculations are drawn to the monitor. If you turn this a...

Re: help imagedate:getPixel for love 11.3

"canvas" is not the name of the function but a placeholder for the name of your canvas. In other words you need to create _canvas_ first before being able to use it. Further canvas:getPixel was removed from the current Löve version. To get the colour of a pixel i use this line: r,g,b= Canv...

Just upload the .love file for us to look at, or at least describe how you implemented collision detection.

The workaround is to turn all returns into a table: local allpoints = {objects.ground.body:getWorldPoints(obj...

Re: Volcano Star - simple sandbox game

Just finished it, very good gameplay. You should continue adding some side quests , it was quite disappointing to build a big base just to finish the game directly after that. This is too good of a game to keep it that short. Controls are quite hectic with only one tool button. Would greatly improve...

Re: Practical engine limitations

A couple of times ive hit the ram limit of my graphic card while drawing a ton of pixels in one frame. Oddly this caused no high cpu usage or frame drop. Simply said the card run out of ram and closed itself. Further rendering several mb of text at once may cause your graphic card to completely lock...
