Re: Aa..aahH - I want a MASSIVE BLOODY Hack'n Slash
I like the shooter thing, is a nice concept and I hope you make a finished game of it someday :) I loved playing with the racer game as it is, painting curves by dots or lines (if you go slow enough). It was quite fun :) The 2.5D version... Well, reminds me of my old MegaDrive F1 racer game, it's ni...

Re: Why is this not working?
I fumbled a bit with the numbers and managed to make the guy move. I changed gravity from 500 to 10, and the force applied from 750 to 2000. He still didn't jump, though.

Re: [Platformer] GiLL Pre-Alpha Demo
Nice update! With the tutorial levels I got used to the controls and when I got to those floor spikes I hated I passed them on the first try!
I got to the next screen but trying to read the sign got me a blue screen:
lua/objects/sign.lua:49 attempt to index field '?' (a nil value)

Looks good. Though I couldn't get past the first set of floor spikes. And it bugs me a lot, I thought I was pretty decent at this kind of games... I guess I was wrong xD

Re: I need some motivation
Start small. Always start small. Don't try to make a huge game with dozens of enemies and a hundred levels as your first game. Make a small game, and try to finish it. You learn more that way.
PS: LÖVE is great for small games

Re: Share a Shader!
I just got a new PC and I'm trying all the shaders on the thread (awesome stuff, btw), and that was my favourite one! I'm sorry it doesn't work for you I know that feel.
Anyway, this is what it looks like, just in case you wondered.

Re: Love for zombies
Update! Hi, I'm back! I've been quite busy lately but I got some time to make small improvements to my little game. The download is in the first post as usual. As many had suggested, I've added a weapon system and a new weapon, the machinegun. You can select the classic handgun or the brand new mac...
