Thanks for the suggestions. I think I'll just go with vrld's suggestion for now and use Quickie. It has automatic layouts, which will be absurdly useful. If I have time (which seems to be an increasingly large if), I may try to make my own tiny GUI library.

I can understand the desire to write and use your own stuff. However, the more time I spend writing libraries, the less time I spend making games. This is part of the reason I'm using LÖVE instead of C++ with SFML.

It's a bug with gspot (such an excellent library name). The first click doesn't register for some reason. Click again and you should be able to buy things.
