Have you tried https://love2d.org/wiki/love.graphics.inverseTransformPoint ? I can't seem to get this to work. Maybe I'm using it wrong because there's no sample code. 11.0 and 11.1 crash in macOS 10.14. love 11.3 will include an updated version of SDL which has working vsync on macOS. I don't get any crashes on 11.0 on my end. (Edit: Just remembered it's only because you gave me a fixed build a while back) I just can't use 11.2 because of the vsync ignoring issu...
