Re: Multi Touch Question

Yes, it does on android and ios.
The love.touch module and all methods under it help tremendously; some have examples as well.
Either those, or the touch related callbacks near the bottom of this page: love

Re: [HELP] Drawable disappears the first frame

Usually, you want to set color before you draw something, not the other way around, it's more straightforward. And depending on what löve version you use, colors are in the [0,1] interval with the current versions, so {1 * 102, 1 * 51, 1 * 153, 1} is definitely wrong, unless you use something like 0...

Re: Jail/Sandbox

You... do realize this is a 10 year old topic... right? In any case, nothing's going away, so you shouldn't be concerned; i know i'm not, even though i'm also writing some non-game apps with löve. Hey bartbes/slime, how about i go over all threads again and make a dandy list of those that should be ...

Re: How to create "darker" version of image?

One subjectively better option would be to use ImageData instead of Image, create regular images from that, then modify the imagedata with the mapPixel method so that each pixel gets darkened by a simple formula, and create images from those as well; here's the modified minimal code: function Sprite...

I don't think there are timing issues in 0.10, at least i never noticed such a thing, but i did try to go through your main.lua and to be honest, i couldn't find anything glaring that could cause timing issues. By the way, your legalese may be correct, but i don't think i ever read anything about a ...

Hi and welcome to the forums! So, some constructive feedback, i hope: - Local variables are a good thing to use, but if you clearly use the same locally defined functions in multiple files, think about putting them into their own lua file, and requiring that in the others to avoid code duplication. ...

Re: Need help with text scaling when changing window resolution

Hi and welcome to the forums! love.graphics.scale (and pretty much most other love.graphics functions) only really work if you call them in the love.draw callback; that scaling you wrote there, it will be disregarded instantly since each love.draw resets the transformation each frame, which is how i...

Re: Game like Overwhelm

How big can a map be using love2d? Since you're the one defining what a map is, the limit's the sky... okay no, about 2-3 gigabytes total for RAM use of lua stuff, way more for löve specific objects like images, meshes, spritebatches, sound, generic data objects, etc. Even if you only used lua stuf...
