if your canvas is 8bit rgba (which is the default), regardless of what number you set with setColor, it can only go in increments of 1/256, or 0.0039, so what you're seeing is the result of that quantization. KEY = nil is fine, nothing bad happens if you nil something that was nil already.

That said, with this method, you can only store one specific key; if you'd press multiple during one frame, only one of them would be saved.

You should be able to edit your first post with the pencil icon on the top-left near your name, and put [SOLVED] in front of the subject in the subject field ("Problem with the .exe created for my game")

Two things to note and try: 1. the require function works with module paths, not file paths; you using `/` might or might not work, since you should use dots as separators, so: require 'luas.extendedLoader' 2. windows (the NTFS filesystem actually) might not care about file casing, but any other OS ...

While keyboard and mouse won't really work like that, you can try whether gamepad input works when unfocused, that has a higher chance i think.
