We tried to use LuaJit for our Iris2 project. We have very heavy implementations in lua (~560kb of lua source). But we don't have to. Look i take Love for prototyping small Games. Like a Sandbox for my Ideas. If we wanna distribute Games, you can copy Love and the game together and i will work fine. Just one binary. But of couse, if you think of an Love Runtime and only distribute the Game archives...you will...

I don't like Flash. Flash is properiatry. You cannot enhance Flash. Flash doesn't work on all OS. (Love also but it's possible because of OSS, just needs some work).
Also Lua is more common in gamedevelopment as the propritary ActionScript.

Ati's OpenGL Drivers are crap. They are sometimes 200% slower than the nvidia ones.
