hump.camera and SUIT - mouse position problems.

Hi, Just a quick question. I am adding mouse support to the character stats menu of my program. The problem is that when I use the hump.camera to center the screen it seems to make the mouse input to the suit library not play well. Its like the mouse input does not realise that the screen has been r...

I thought this was a good introduction. He covers a lot of material in a shallow way. You find something that interests you - you can trawl google and dig deeper.

Re: LOVE2D Multi-touch support on Windows 7/8/10

Yes, would appear to be a similar device. But as its $17 vs $78 its got less functionality and is usb instead of bluetooth. Linux has support for the windows gesture devices so I could just use system library to interact with it I guess. I never realised that apple released this. What a neat little ...

Re: I got an error and I need halp

It's telling you that your problem is in main.lua line 21. Check that. If you had posted the code. It would have been easier dude. Might not be the whole problem - at the blue screen stage you might be lucky and its just a simple problem or its the start of a journey down a rabbit hole of despair. T...

Re: LOVE2D Multi-touch support on Windows 7/8/10

So would the following device probably work with love.touch? If so I will get it and have a play next week. Will be a easy way to demo touch screen functionality without actually having to load the game on an android device. http://www.cdrking.com/UserFiles/Image/Illustration/EO-1128.jpg http://www....

Re: My projects and demos

Todays update: Spent most of last night messing around with opengl to see just exactly what the laptop could take as a sanity check before generating a bunch of sub-par isometric assets for the game. for the curious this was what glxinfo had to say about the laptop.. OpenGL vendor string: Intel Open...

Re: My projects and demos

Another day, another update - the plan is to get the base art asset done for the stations. The MRT-3 has a skeleton layout at the moment. Need to implement opening and closing time of the network and also implement the hump.timer idea I was talking about. Got the documents, the flow diagrams for the...

Re: My projects and demos

Thanks for your kind words and your help Beelz. I need to think more about your example - lol its been a long day and my brain is not too quick on the uptake this evening lol. One thing I am thinking of doing is implementing the blocking function with the hump timer library. So the plan is to allow ...

Re: My projects and demos

Another day, more progress. Madbytes example has enabled me to use hump.gamestates in the program. I decided to go with this over my own simplistic state switcher. Well because of the features you get with the library are excellent. Being able to see the working example helped me realise where I was...

Re: My projects and demos

Thank you very much for your help MadByte that helps a whole bunch. Probably a good point to update: Spent the day working on getting some extra functionality into the program. Seemingly minor but quite useful.. To avoid going over the same subject twice you can re-live the magic that was my questio...
