Pulse screen to a beat [Solved]

Hi all,

I'd like to know how i would go about

A. detecting when a beat is played in real time from any uploaded sound file
B. pulse the screen when the beat is detected

baring in mind i can't resize the screen then revert it back to normal size as a pulse effect

Thankyou

Ha ! I didn't quit after the 6th second out of boredom I just run out of spare time ;) (I played more later though) but seriously it's an absolutely beautiful game and again I love the UI and the graphics

And also how did you get such smooth transitions I'd love to know
