Then that's fine. :) As long as colour is always spelled with a u, there's no problem.

Re: middleclass & middleclass-extras: OOP for LUA

A lot of the US spellings are older (though it's a mixed bag), so it makes sense for a third party to use the more common and more historical spelling. A lot of the US versions are also shorter and easier to remember if you don't natively speak English (armor as opposed to armour). To be fair to my ...

Re: The FAKE (weird) Love!

I was in the first group of alpha testers: the game is fun conceptually, but it runs into snags where Eskil's vision and the realities of human nature don't agree. For example, when I was playing, creating castles was tremendous fun- until another player accidentally destroyed my exit route. I was s...

Re: So, I've tried making a .love file just now...

Maybe PhysFS does something with __MACOSX? But that would be even weirder, especially considering it usually isn't a problem for lovers on mac. That's what I'm getting at. No one else with OS X has had this problem. So it's not the cause. And as was mentioned at the bottom of the last page, you can...

Re: So, I've tried making a .love file just now...

@Jasoco: Not to be argumentative, but I posted a working solution, even if you think I'm bashing (I'm not, it was a joke, hence the Farscape reference... nvm). @bartbes Yeah you can have same folders and lua files the same name, the game works just fine for me as long as I delete the __MACOSX folder...

Re: So, I've tried making a .love file just now...

Please do not include the __MACOSX folder in your zips/loves, especially if that folder only contains references to the root directory. Just delete the folder (it contains 5 absolutely useless files) and everything works just fine.

Re: I have a question.

Looks like it worked to me. What are we supposed to be seeing?

Actually, judging from the last frame, you might be having a problem a friend mentioned to me: on some computers, the font has a funky white outline. Are you doing a Hello World program?

Re: I have a question.

I've the urge to say something snide about Windows and their extension-hiding behaviour, but I'd better not. ;) Remember that you had to blame also OSX on that matter. One of the first things I made when migrating was enable extensions. In the past, I've gotten way more headache from OSX users who ...

"compiling.gif"? "kurosuke_compiled"? Well not really :D And thanks for this new effort to solve his problem. I believe that he was trying to "compile" cof cof without have a *.love file already assembled. Eh, the terminology applies: Collect information together in order to produce something. I ta...
