Re: Recursive Require

If you don't mind the module being a global variable, you can use the built-in global table to assign it a value and use it conveniently: _G[MODULE_NAME] = require("flux.lua") MODULE_NAME.to(...) -- this will work References - 1 , 2 , 3 EDIT: Just realised this post is a bit old, sorry about that.

Can confirm that it's bugged just in 0.10.2 on Windows 10.

Re: Texturing Meshes at an Angle

Perspective quad would be easier. That was not what i wanted: <what Jasoco and I want> Is it just me, or is something off about how it stretches things? Like the bottom is too stretched out. This is how it would look like in a proper perspective way (using pers.lua) http://i.imgur.com/W59DvP8.png

Re: Texturing Meshes at an Angle

Thanks so much for replying, everyone; sorry I was crap at responding. I've been working full force on a renderer using what Davidobot proposed, which I found shortly after posting this topic. Here's a screenshot of what it looks like now. Thanks again for your replies! Oh cool, a raycaster, I look...

Re: Texturing Meshes at an Angle

Yeah, there is no workaround for this if you only use meshes. I would recommend you try the forum's favourite Textured Polygon library - https://love2d.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=12483 (for usage)

Here is a version for 0.10.X - https://love2d.org/forums/viewtopic.php ... 40#p211248

Re: Best GUI library?

After countless times of trying to reinvent the wheel I tried a few libraries, but couldn't settle on anything. Right now I'm using Nuklear , it's an immediate mode GUI so it's a little different, but I like it. +1 for Nuklear. It's the only 3rd-party GUI library I felt comfortable with. It is also...

Re: An Awesome List Of One-Person-Games

http://borg.uu3.net/~borg/?netwars is a one person project as well. I don't know if borg intends to update it or not though, but the latest supported version is 0.9, and the server code is available, so technically it's still a workable game. Actually, there is a version for 0.10.X! Scroll down and...

Re: How to make a simple Constructor in lua

While what the above poster is certainly a solution, a more elegant one can be achieved with metatables , and more specifically, the __index part of metatables. There is what is called a "prototype". They are exactly what you ate looking for - default values for a table. EDIT: Example usage: planet ...
