You can try to resolve collisions by using the velocity of the player. For example, if the player collides with a wall and the player is currently moving to the right, then you have to resolve the collision to the left.

The error occurs in line 51 of your code. It happens when you call the function "rev" on a number that is too large. If you insert the lines print(cur) print(rev(cur)) right before line 51 you will see that the value of cur is "1.595479779756e+14". If you convert it to a string and reverse it, then ...

Concatenating string does not work implicitely in table definitions.
