OK, I installed the stuff via Macports, which cut almost all the fatal errors. However, it still won't compile. Old topic, but posting because this is so incredibly useful :)

One thing that bugs me is the lack of --[[]] comment support, but apart from that, perfection! Been looking for a coda Lua mode for _AGES_

I'm assuming 0.6 is limited all the time to 60/61FPS, because no matter how much crap I spawn, (nothing or tonnes), it's 60. Until I loaded images on draw, and the ram maxed out!

Building on OSX failed for me (I had to use terminal, since finder decided .xcodeproj is a folder to open, and refused to open in xCode as a result).

On a note, Amazon CloudFront/S3 and most of the other 'cloud' providers aren't clouds, they're just CDN's.

Rather than working around, why not just use a 0.6 build? I'm using it and haven't had any issues so far, seems 100% stable.

I used to think tables == arrays, but then I discovered the use of

table:Something( lol ) will basically allow you to use self inside and ... I just feel all gewy inside :)

Lua is awesome!
