Re: Application Was Unable to Start Correctly
I don't generally like to bump things... But I'd really like this problem fixed before the weekend. So BUMP. Any help would be greatly appreciated. EDIT: Well, I had to figure it out on my own. Turns out it was a virus protection program being a bit too over-protective. (For whatever reason, it deci...

Re: Inter-entity Collision in Goature's System
(I sent this to him in a DM conversation, which I might as well copy/paste here for posterity.) Hm. This system Goature wrote is weirder than I remember. Oh, wait, ent.create gives them ent.types automatically! Wonderful. Okay, the way to do this doesn't seem very good or efficient, but on the most ...

Re: [NONLOVE] Chaoscraft - The 2D Sidescrolling Skilling MOR
it isn't done though, it's more of a alpha than a beta. Being 15 years old one would think you'd be able to at least read through the entire post. I realize this happened forever ago... But I have to say, Azhukar, it seemed to me like jjmafiae wasn't disagreeing with you at all when you snapped at ...

Re: Application Was Unable to Start Correctly
Okay, I was finally able to get the Event Viewer to work thanks to some dirty hacks I'm trying hard not to be proud of. Hope this helps.

Re: Application Was Unable to Start Correctly
In the "Selected Snap-ins" box, remove everything but "Console Root", then try again. Uh, it seems like that was already done when I got there... https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/74538317/Images/MMCwat.png Like I said, my computer is very, very messed up. Are there any altern...

Re: Application Was Unable to Start Correctly
You may want to look at this . Hopefully it will solve your issue. Thanks, verilog, but unfortunately I don't think that applies beyond Windows XP. I'm on Windows 7, which I probably should have mentioned, and I don't even have the .dll it talks about. Assuming you have Windows, you can provide us ...

Re: A Community-Culture Problem With Library Names
What the... Oh man. :o: I'm really sorry, for some reason I thought this was recent... What the heck... I could have sworn the dates weren't old. Drat, now I'm that guy! EDIT: Oh, wait, they aren't old, now I was looking at the join dates, haha. What on earth is going on? EDIT 2: Ah, okay, I see wha...

[RESOLVED] Application Was Unable to Start Correctly
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/74538317/Images/Love2DError.png For whatever reason, my computer suddenly refuses to open anything related to LÖVE with this message, including .love files, compiled builds, or just the plain love.exe. The same thing happens whether I run 0.8.0 or 0.9.0. The best...

Re: A Community-Culture Problem With Library Names
While I do have some personal issues with many of the library names, I'm willing to accept that the whole thing is pretty trivial. I don't even get most of the innuendos until someone else points them out, anyway. :P (I'm 15, for the record.) I suggest that someone makes a list of alternate-names fo...
