[LD 20] SkyFall

Was it really such a good idea to go alone to that cliff?

I wild trip down including epic weapons(swords), action packed battles, dashes, spins, turns and trampolines. All of the assets and coding was done in 48 hours as part the Ludum Dare 20 Compo(Theme: It’s Dangerous to go Alone! Take this!).

Controls:
Arrowkeys for moving
x - turn
c - dash
v - hit

You can download a slightly more polished and cleaned up version with music right here. I know that it still contains some bugs but I don't think I will spend a lot more time on this. Nevertheless I'm curious about what the love community thinks.

I wasn't able to kill a single enemy, and I didn't understand what "turn" did.

Yes. I had no problem moving about. It was just the killing thing that I couldn't manage. I think I hit the enemy once before dying.

I suck at this game too, the enemy is so hard to kill. After a few tries, I noticed the help text about combining the buttons, but I still find it really difficult.

That aside, I like the intro sequence and the sound. The intro reminds me of Final Fantasy Adventure from the old Gameboy.
Do you recognise when the world won't stop for you? Or when the days don't care what you've got to do? When the weight's too tough to lift up, what do you? Don't let them choose for you, that's on you.

I was able to kill 2! Not quite sure what dash and spin did though.

If you have some tactics this game isn't that hard, I beat it second try.

My tactic is to press and hold x and v and then move around. Works all the time.
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass... and I'm all out of bubblegum.
