colourful - fill the screen with the same colour :)

Post by SuperZazu »

Hey guys,

Here's a little game I made in an afternoon of work. :-)
You have to fill the screen with the same colours, with a minimum score.

COLOURS-0.2.1.love

25! :3
I could think of three ways this game could be even more awesome, one is either random or (better) selectable (even better: user-selectable via a file in its save dir) colors; two is difficulty levels, # of colors to match in a game; three: more fun music randomly selected (or selectable at the start, like in (not-)tetris!) (if you want, i would try to compose one of them for it!)

Edit: one more thing, ultra difficulty, where the starting point is randomly selected (and like now, not shown which is it)
Edit2: also maybe chooseable playfield size? also "infinite" x-attack type playfields?

Made it in 27!

Nice concept, I must say. I could totally see this made as a full game with specific levels (not random) where you have to make a certain number of movements, get stars for less movements, etc.

Am I the only one who cant see the buttons?

Loved the game and the amazing music!! Also the colors you used were the right choice!

Feature request:
1. Key bindings for each color, playing with the keyboard may be nice who knows...
2. Time! Something like: "You won with 20 moves in 1.4sec" because competing can become even more competitive
3. Highscores tables!
for i, person in ipairs(everybody) do
[tab]if not person.obey then person:setObey(true) end
end
