Thanks both. I think I agree with Jeeper on reflection - now I've got a game that might actually work it's just not worth the risk/hassle. I think I knew that when originally posting really, I just couldn't see good ways around it but now I think I can. It'll probably take about a month to make the changes and have something playable without any copyright.

That was my original question and I'd consider that answered, thanks. I'd appreciate the thread not drifting into pros/cons of copyright. Still would be grateful of any balancing thoughts though!
