The default love.run does a 1 ms sleep now. HOWEVER, I just tried this with a test, it might be that vsync is now functioning correctly.
Really, if you can get away with sleeping you might as well still add it.

Sleeping every update still seems a nice thing to do, especially for smaller games that players may want to run aside other programs.

Thanks, this might be helpful since i plan to not use sound in game, but to write something like "no sound, try your favorite web radio instead" on the start screen.

And i believe i heard that vsync only works with opengl, what (in combination with sdl) only would work fullscreen. So that's no problem. :D
