Events Last in love.run?

I was just wanting to know what the reason for processing events last in love.run is. I've known the game loop traditionally being defined as events -> logic -> draw, but from what I see in the default love.run it's logic -> draw -> events. It doesn't really matter, the game only sleeps a millisecond before love.update and love.draw get to know about the change, just curious.
