Building for Mac on M1

Has anyone been able to successfully build a Love2D game for Mac OS X on an M1 Macbook? I've run into a series of errors and eventually get stuck with stuff like:

"warning build: Ignoring file /Users/{USER_NAME}/Downloads/love-11.4/platform/xcode/macosx/Frameworks/theora.framework/theora, building for macOS-arm64 but attempting to link with file built for macOS-x86_64"

it seems like I need to find theora Framework built for M1s, but I'm not sure how to go about this. Any pointers?
