Lot of people have asked how to do this. I'm glad we finally have a good example.

Actually, someone named Zipripper did this exact same thing two and a half years ago.

Sadly the examples were all lost in the Forum migration a few years ago. I still have them on my system though. They're all for 0.7.x...
Zipripper's Showcase.zip
These are NOT mine. So don't ask me for help with them...

I don't know if Zipripper is still here or not.

But the examples were still with us in forum (in the same thread). zipperipper was here a couple of months ago and left a mediafire link. Nixola then also attached same file to forum thread so thanks but you hadn't really to dig it and repost it. :)
Also new version of showcase have some extra stuff.
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1197&start=50#p53119 (zipperipper mediafire repost)
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1197&start=50#p53192 (Nixola attachment repost)

cattail also converted almost everything to 0.8

@AntonioModer While you might not be the first to do this, a slicing "engine" is an interesting concept. So much so, in fact, that I might consider doing something like this later on down the line for a game.

The cutter demo by Zipper is very impressive stuff. Looking through the source code though, it sure is complicated =/.
