Re: turtle.lua - Drawing library
This is not Turtle Graphics it is love.turtle
Lua and Turtle works fine in the editor, but all love programms don't. You have to rename it to main.lua and zip it to a love file. Love is pointless this way. It takes forever.
You just stopped answering what to do about it. Always nil value Error in sublime text or Scite. You also cannot drop into love.exe, like I read it.
Love is useless. Please call it love turtle graphics here.
And everything has to be a student course instead of just reading it in a manual. Things you would do in 1 minutes takes forever watching some guy in a class.
Love sucks now. And the name is stupid and a problem to search for something.

Chill, man. Take your frustrations somewhere else. People here are helpful, but that requires you to be eloquent in formulting your questions. Rants are not welcome and will likely get you banned.CliveE wrote: ↑Mon Feb 03, 2025 9:52 pm This is not Turtle Graphics it is love.turtle

Re: turtle.lua - Drawing library
So, you cannot answer the question or explain, how love.exe and the lovec.exe could be handled not to have to be zipped? Like -o or somehting to add? Your answer is cold - like Greenland.
I have it with the latest Scite, by adding a 'compile' and 'go' like lua in it - with love and lovec using Windows path, but it does not work and does not open a window.
It seems lua is only supported inside a love function. Native lua does not work even when you zip it.
To zip it and to rename it as main.lua is pointless - it can't be used this way. It takes forever.
It seems like you have to tell the compiler to go to love and then back to lua.I thought full lua 5.2 was included in it?
Not even Hello World in native lua does work with love.
