great game! completed it on "grandpa" one time i went into a dead end, the lava was close behind me, and i turned around and actually made it through the lava around the corner. i was just in time. the lava already was there but i was so fast it couldnt burn me. that was quite cool! like playing with fire

yea the collision for the fire is just trailing the player coordinates, since the hallways are 2 units wide and the player and fire are only 1 unit wide it is possible to loop back on it

i originally had it where the fire flooded the halls, and that was not possible, but 2x the flames and it started bogging down on the computer, which at nearly the end of the compo, i noticed i was doing some bad mojo in a loop, and that was the real cause of the bog .. but too late to redo the fire

besides it does add a little something, cause you can tempt fate and play with fire, so its no big deal
