[Linux] Dependency unsatisfable

Post by Tricky » Sat May 28, 2016 7:16 am

I tried to install the love engine to Linux (so I could test the Linux version of my upcoming game), but the software manager throws the error: Dependency unsatisfiable: liblove0

And as a result I cannot download/install (since the install button simply won't show).
Any way to get around this?

Installing liblove first should work. Go to the main LÖVE page, https://love2d.org/ and look under Ubuntu for your architecture. The liblove PPA is there, and the package is called precisely liblove0, the dependency that it complains about.

So if I install liblove first and try to install love itself after is should just work?
Thanks I'll try that and let you know if this worked on me.
