Re: Hello, can anyone hear me?

Sublime looks nice but I don't want to mess with anything proprietary (If I don't have too). ;) I also thought about Emacs but it looked too complicated. Anything that makes Love/Lua easier to work with in Vim I will definitely have an interest in.

Re: Hello, can anyone hear me?

Coffee, some of your sentences are confusing but I think I get the main Idea of your post. Also, I have a hunch that the process of zipping files has been changed or upgraded for different OS X distributions. A one size fits all terminal solution in the help wiki for OS X may take some homewo...

Re: Hello, can anyone hear me?

Making accurate generalizations can be very difficult. It requires knowing a lot about a particular group of people. Look, from my experience Mac users seem to be pretty knowledgeable about computers. I know some windows users who are also very computer savvy but they definitely seem to be the minor...

Re: New to Game Development and could use some guidance.

Many people likely see this as old news but I thought it was interesting. http://www.wowwiki.com/Lua Also I found a site that lets anyone make MMO's. It seems like a complicated process, even when it is served on a silver platter. http://www.multiversemmo.com/ http://www.multiversemmo.com/wiki/Platf...

Re: Hello, can anyone hear me?

http://reviews.cnet.com/8301-13727_7-10330151-263.html I think it would be safe to say that a programer who does not know how to use a terminal would be like a watch maker that does not know how to tell the time. On the main page https://love2d.org/ it says in bold letters "Try it! It's super-e...

Re: Hello, can anyone hear me?

I did it. All I needed to do was create the text file, right click, compress, and manually change the name game.zip to game.love in a directory where love.app was executed. The file goes pink, then click on it and viola it works. I am on a Mac and I found the directions on https://love2d.org/wiki/Ge...

Re: Hello, can anyone hear me?

I downloaded a lsome.love executable. It seems to work fine for the most part. Right now I plan to try to run some hello world code I found on another thread. I don't know how to do it but I will try to do some homework and see if I can figure it out on my own.

Hello, can anyone hear me?

I tried to post something in a thread yesterday and I haven't seen it posted. I tried to use the chat room and I was not able to have any conversations. I would however get messages that people were leaving the chat room. I downloaded love and tried to use it. All I got when I tried to use it was a ...

How does Lua and love do when it comes to MMO development?
