Re: What should I call this adorable little platformer?

I'm probably going to remove jumping. Or at least not use it that much. In fact, I'm going to make it automatic. If you reach a gap that's one tile wide, you will jump across automatically. If you reach a gap that's bigger, you'll simply drop off. I might take it further and have it so you can drop...

Re: What should I call this adorable little platformer?

You may already be aware but falling objects continue to fall when the level is reloaded, and a player can be killed if he triggers falling block just before entering the exit and then is hit by it while loading the next stage. Also there appears to be a memory leak with falling objects, most defini...

If you fall to your death right under the last spike and then the spike also hits you lose more than one life.

PS: Looks like this would be a lot of fun! Great work.

Re: Zombie Game

I enjoyed the update! Would it be possible to capture the mouse while the game is running? On more than one occasion I managed to click outside the window and had to quickly alt-tab back in.

Amazing. That looks really fantastic! Thank you :) And you never have to ask to modify my original programs, especially when you're improving them!

Unless specified otherwise all of my programs on this site are free as in speech and beer!

Ryne, the help is no problem and doesn't come with obligations. :) I'll probably be abandoning this anyway so that was mostly me joking :)

Re: Paralax Scrolling BG + Sprite Animations

Maybe, for the next version, consider making the player's shadow an oval. Perspective and all that. Also, to sorta echo what kikito first noticed, the whole "gliding to walk" thing is a little confusing. I agree, but unfortunately I'm not an artist and the spriteset didn't have a "running" animatio...
