It's clear that you don't know much about programming, so I'll just go ahead and tell you: You don't need a loading screen, or a progress bar. It will be completely useless for your project.

Saving directly into love files and the like. That is possible on linux (at least on Ubuntu), I noticed a few days ago that there's an option in the right-click-menu to mount a .zip/.love as a HDD.
