Re: Top-Down City With Depth
Thursdaybloom, the demo looks great. Is there a reason why you have the player closer to the bottom of the screen, rather than the center? Also, the perspective feels very high up to me, like looking down from a helicopter. But perhaps that's your intention. Thanks for the feedback ^^ I've made the...

I've been playing around with additive colour blending but can't find a way to return the RGB value of the 'new' colour i get after blending. If I make a blue square and a red square, then move the red square over the blue square I get a purple square. How can I store the RGB values of this new purp...

Re: Top-Down City With Depth
kalle2990: Well spotted. It looks like by fixing one problem I managed to make another. I'll have to work on a better draw order system

Re: Top-Down City With Depth
I admit to being ignorant towards the dimensions of tileset.png. Because it worked for me straight away I become oblivious to the power-of-2 rule. I'll update the file soon. It may or may not fix things for nevon, but it won't hurt to make the tileset conform

Re: Top-Down City With Depth
When I run it now, I just get a black screen. Before the update it looked like a garbled mess. I actually have no idea why this happens. I only have the mac I made it on the check with, but based on my feedback (ie. this topic + a friend) the program works. Would it be a compatablity issue? Maybe s...
