The libraries you are using right now are good. No need to use anything else.

This is most likely because you are using an older version of LOVE
It should be easily fixed by removing the line from conf.lua

This is much much more better! I preferred the old clouds over these new rainbow ones, but that's more down to personal preference. For sfx I recommend you use http://www.bfxr.net/
