Ok i'll support 1024x768 :) The 2 screens I work with 90% of the time have 1680x1050 as resolution. I love widescreen but sadly enough as you mentioned, not every game supports widescreen ratio's. Yes ofcourse :)

But i have to decide the minimum resolution to support. I mean 800x600 is out of the question but is 1024x768 still to common? Is anyone here using this resolution (or simular)?

Thanks for the positive replies :) I'll keep using this kind of style then.

While designing the GUI i've yet to decide to support i'll support XGA screen resolution (1024x768) or not. It seems 25% to 33% is still using 1024x768 or lower.
What do you guys think should be the minimum screen resolution?

Nice idea,

maybe add a boolean in the config file to switch the libraries on, just like the current ones (graphics, sound, ...).

Proper Documentation, stability, completeness, general usefullness are requirements in the selection.

Ofcourse the cutscene's will be optional. Same when the game starts. I also hate it when you are forced to watch the same intro movie again and again.

actually there are 3 of those :)

@Jasoco: Maybe if you randomly use 3 different big trees it will break the pattern even more. But it looks nice already :)
