We have a few ports going on right now, so we've been receiving GDD from other companies and believe me, you won't find two similar documents. In fact, sometimes there's no such thing as GDD but a bunch...

Re: Professional Game Design Documents
I have two GDD sitting on my desk at work and I don't even want to touch them, heh. This interests me greatly! Do you know of any place where they provide guidelines on how to write such documents? As far as I could understand from browsing through the ones you linked to it seems like pretty much an...

Re: The LÖVE of Tomorrow
Even though I'm unlikely to give a damn about it, I agree with rude about the D3D render. Just pick one of those cheapo Savage3d-based mobos and let's see how you like your games without textures and with broken geometry. I wish I kept a few screenshots... Sound stuff: Great news, I'm no fan of sdl_...

Re: Using GIF Animations ?
If your idea is to directly load a GIF file and play it I don't think it's possible. Right know, LÖVE can extract the frames from a plain image and then draw the correct image at any given moment (depending on the animation speed/lenght). You can also add frames to an already existing animation with...

Re: Löve on pandora (OpenGL es 2.0 or 1.1)
Heh, I was thinking about this. The problem here for me is the lack of a Pandora and the lack of proper documentation about it. Last time I checked out I wasn't able to find much developer information (cross-compilers and stuff).
