Re: Paralax Scrolling BG + Sprite Animations
I am not going to pay wads of money to buy a screen recorder that I will only use occasionally. And about use the screen capture of very free VLC? EDITED Just does video recording, no GIF recorded included, but you can limit recording area. Anyway that's not the question, we are digressing, nomnom ...

PhotoShop could (I know, it's Linux so no PS). I'd probably record the video in QuickTime. Export to .mov. Open PS and use the "Import as Frames" option. Then crop it, and play around with the color options for an hour anal-retentively until my OCD is satisfied with its look vs. its size....

Re: Cannonship - 2d shooter
You guys noticed perhaps that I'm a lot roguelike fan and so I'm also a bit rpg player and I have also some considerable mmorg playtime (not WOW). Mob is kind very used word specially in mmorgs when a party confront a lot of "mobs" that we have to control and contain with some tactics befo...

Re: My own action adventure engine
I thought I fixed that bug. :halloween: Edit: I tried it again myself. After walking between maps a bunch of times I got it to crash once for reasons I can't really comprehend. Seems to be a Box2D error, since all I changed was the physics and that's the part that always crashes without an error me...

Re: TextMate bundle, auto-complete and tooltips.
You made a nice review that I will read again, test and response better later. First just a consideration. I think that you comparing two kind of editors that aren't really in same classes. Fraise philosophy and approach seems to be more a light all-round. editor A kind that TW be a dedicated hard-c...

Re: I have a question.
In the past, I've gotten way more headache from OSX users who don't have extensions at all than from Windows users who don't understand them. Though recently, operating systems letting special characters like singlequote into filenames has proved to be an enormous pain in the rear. OSX it's an OS o...

Remember that you had to blame also OSX on that matter. One of the first things I made when migrating was enable extensions.Robin wrote:I've the urge to say something snide about Windows and their extension-hiding behaviour, but I'd better not.

Re: I have a question.
Also, if you're having trouble with renaming .zip to .love, you may have file extensions disabled. Ouch, I was soooo used to have .extensions enabled that I didn't ever remembered that could be an eventual problem. Thanxs for remember of that Tentus, my thoughts how to help this time were ending. A...

Yah, probably now that function list is ok and you know that can drag a function list to the UI you have one more editor to play with.Jasoco wrote:Whoa! Nice! Now I am going to have to give this a more serious try!

Re: Suggestion/inspiration for a physics puzzler
I feel that idea is good but somehow badly used (bad puzzles/levels). Yeah, I quit because the puzzle's sucked. The strange thing is that I when I saw first images here: http://guidology.com/2010/11/18/blow-things-up-official-walkthrough-kongregate-helpers-official-review/ and here http://designyou...
