Forum's embedded downloads broken (sometimes)

Post by ncarlson »

Hi,

Browsing the forum, I've noticed that a lot of older posts have broken links for embedded downloads.

Here's an example.

I'm not sure if this is expected behavior, but I thought I'd just let you guys know.

Last year, our forums were attacked by aliens. We survived, thankfully, but they abducted all the attachments in the process. Anything from June of last year or earlier is irrevocably gone. :(

If you want to try PÄSSION, though, you can download it from GitHub.

I thought it was a zombie invasion? Or was that the year before?

Pässion is a bit dead right now. Sorry about that.

It had become so huge that I had to divide it into smaller projects just so that I could keep going. Currently middleclass, middleclass-extras, cron.lua, and tween.lua are what PÄSSION used to be, in a more correct way, but less complete (i.e. no "Actor" class)
When I write def I mean function.

It turns out that I was looking for the "no.love" file which can be found in the demos zip file. I assumed that I had downloaded it from the forums, so I spent a couple hours scouring the top viewed threads.

Thank you for the responses though. Next time, call Sigourney Weaver or Max Brooks, depending on the crisis de jour.
