Not all good games are frustrating (at least not all the way through). I.e. Banjo-Kazooie.

Push is fun.
Good bye.

cheers luiji. yea, i take back what i said about frustration, just downloaded a couple of "thatgamecompany" games. really ambient, clever, subtle titles.
i'm using a lot of the code from push to write a different game that's gonna be a lot less intimidating control-wise. i think i missed out on the simplicity of 2d completely with push, ended up just getting more and more annoying rather than more enjoyable. i really like the way love + lua lets you experiment with gameplay ideas, it's exactly what you need when you're starting out.
so, yea.. hopefully next game will be a bit better :P

-- Don't force fullscreen (it frustrates those who want to try your game real quick) -- Develop for 1280x720 (so people can make HD videos)
