Aseprite loader?

Was just wondering if anyone had made or found an animation loader / player. for the .ase file format. anim8 works really well, but it is still annoying to have to re-export my sprites to sprite sheets on every edit and extract all the frames. Also, asesprite allows embedding of other data like frame lengths that I want to include.

Couldn't find any on here, but maybe it exists... Only gonna write it if I have to. Thanks.

EDIT: If there are better tools out there for sprite editing, especially ones with a pre existing loader / player for Love (preferably free) please let me know. I really like Asesprite but there are a few problems with it, and I'm not super tied to it.
