Particle System Explanation needed

The wiki is not a tutorial...
and the demo of particle system doesn't speak to me...

so can someone give me a explanation of a ParticleSystem and the functions to me, and give an example of how to create one? Also, examples of each individual code would be nice . If someone would be nice enough to help me, I'd give them a free cookie!

Take another look at the particlesystem demo. That really is the only guide right now, as far as I know.

Thanks for the file! I was quite scared of so many parameters and functions but it is quite simple! It's just that the wiki page scares a little EDIT: I'm not LuaWeaver but I was interested xD

Anyway I made a little "proof of concept" of being inside a bloodstream based on your file. I love how it looks, it's just like the perfect background. And it doesn't use many resources, I didn't even feel a performance drop.

So... yeah, don't be afraid to use ParticleSystems! They're cool!

It will allow you to quickly test parameter changes on particle systems.

I've been screwing with the particle system and I'm using it in one of my projects right now. I'm thinking I'll be putting a Particle tutorial up on the wiki since a lot of people are having the same issue.
