My bat just simply demonstrated, you could compile and test it yourself if you wanted to. No decompiler can decompile it, afaik. This comes up, again and again, and every love dev is going to say it over and over; We don't want to put it in core, but if you want a GUI system, fork love or write a library. That. Averice, it's good to see your project still alive. A chatbox feature don't seem really be a core/fundamental thing for now. IMHO you should keep it for a second stage.
