Re: Hardon Collider - getting stuck between tiles
Well I've attempted to tinker with it a little, but I don't even know how to get the shape to move. I think you have a different movement code perhaps. I'm not sure, but I'm also not sure about the code given. I will continue tinkering with it, but I doubt I'll get it to work, as I'm still confused ...

Re: Hardon Collider - getting stuck between tiles
Some comments would be nice: I'm unsure what the underscores are, what lightness is, what afrac and bfrac is, and the rest of the code, I think I probably can read.

Re: What IDE are you using?
I use ZeroBrane Studio IDE not just for playing with Love2d, but for all my Lua development (including the development of the IDE itself), although I'm clearly biased here. It's not as polished as ST2 in terms of search/navigation/styles, but it does run on Windows/OSX/Linux and provides integrated...

Windows can natively unpack it...Bannana97 wrote:Yeah.
Change the .love to .zip and unpack it using something like Winzip.
All the files will be there.

Re: Hardon Collider - getting stuck between tiles
Also, both vertical and horizontal collisions don't work if the guy is colliding with more than one tile. I think that might answer your question about what's wrong. If you're colliding with multiple tiles, you're probably hitting the collision callback multiple times. The first time you hit it, th...

Re: Hardon Collider - getting stuck between tiles
Sorry about that, rar is faster for me, as I use WinRAR to zip files. This one should work correctly.
And no, I've tried it with 32x32 shape as well, it still didn't work. Also, both vertical and horizontal collisions don't work if the guy is colliding with more than one tile.

Re: Using Hardon Collider (maybe a bug?)
Finally had a chance to sit down and try a bit different approach. However, I'm getting stuck or "jumpy" after each tile if there's more than 1 tile. Just keep any two buttons down and you'll see what I'm talking about. You can also simply hold S to move down not precisely into one tile. I...

Not guilt - annoy. Why would you feel guilty about using software which was provided for free by the author ? Here's an example: Author : "Hello, user of my software. You are using it for free, which is fine, but I'll starve if you don't give me money. It's fine, though. Not starving would be ...

Re: What IDE are you using?
I run Notepad++ under gdipp along with Latin Modern Fonts so my eyes aren't constantly assaulted by ClearType's horrible, er "unprecedented" font rendering technology. I'm not sure what you are talking about. I'm using Sublime Text at the moment. It's quite nice. Not a huge step up ...
