Re: Love2dCS
If only the .NET → LÖVE part could be done in an AOT fashion, there would be no performance loss. Anyway, nice work.

Re: Looking for a codebase to study
Zabuyaki is our first LÖVE game. It has loads of commits because we're unskilled yet persistent.
Before that we made Whip-a-Wimp, a simple dungeon crawler made with Cocos2D-JS.

If anyone decides to study our code, please share any feedback or comments with us. I'm sure some of our stuff could be greatly improved.

Many LÖVE libraries and tools have a name that is a love-related pun, like Möan, Polyamory, LövePotion, Lovebird, MakeLove, etc.pixelfixation wrote: ↑Sat Dec 07, 2019 12:31 amI'm trying to use Gspot (side note what is up with that name?!)

Re: Fighting game hitbox tutorial
I guess I'm mostly just trying to wrap my head around how I essentially attach my hit/hurt boxes to move along with my character and its animations. The way I see it, you wouldn't have a box that moves along with your character, but the character would be the visual representation of your box. The ...

I don't know. But RetroPie (which is based on Raspbian) ships LÖVE 11.1.

I've seen your stuff on sega-16.com. Good work.
Shame about Sega, but something very similar happened to a project I've worked on (can't say more because it might still happen).

One thing I really love about games like Don't Starve is the gang of pigs or spiders you could recruit to follow you organically. I think it'd be cool to recruit other fighters as you play, building up a bigger and bigger team that do their own thing and assist you in fights. Like tomagotchi, but w...

Brawler looks cool as shit. I'd buy it on a whim if it were on psn. Glad you like it. :) Thanks for being supportive. I'm working on it with Don. "Customizable gangs of baddies" reminds me of Little Fighter 2. It has nice customizable battle modes. As far as characters are concerned, visu...

Nice. The graphic style reminds me of Dragon Force on the Saturn.megalukes wrote: ↑Sun Apr 21, 2019 12:10 am I haven't posted anything for a while, but I found this thing worth posting.
