Re: Which IDE?

A great deal of the community does not use an IDE, rather a plain text editor to do their work in. Linux users tend to lean toward either Sublime (mentioned here, but not free) or the experienced users use something like Vim. Mac users seem to favor XCode (not sure if this is an IDE or not, not a Ma...

I've recently made some of my lesser known pixel art available as stickers for purchase on Redbubble. Please take a look and comment, critique, or even buy a sticker i...

Re: Legend of Noru: Zelda clone

Funny, I was recently kicking around the idea for a Zelda clone. I've been playing the GameBoy Color Zelda games to get me in the mood.

I'm interested to see where this goes.

It looks like you are running an Intel graphics chipset. Make sure you have the xf86-video-intel package installed.

I'm running Arch. If you can tell me what graphics chip you have I can help you locate the proper drivers.

Re: Golden Harvest

Your graphics card does not support canvases. There is no fallback mode so you will not be able to play any LOVE game that uses canvases. I would look into upgrading.

Re: Minecraft Invitation

I've updated the main post with new information again. The server has been moved to http://sentinel3.org. This will most likely be the last update on this thread.

Lua comes with the math.random() function. Have a look at http://www.lua.org/pil/18.html

Re: Luasec (HTTPS)

I would highly suggest developing with the 32bit version of LOVE. While 64bit has its advantages, you're unlikely to see a major performance difference unless your project is absolutely huge. As previously stated, the 32bit version is going to work with everyone's system.
