Re: LÖVE on Android?

There is a company that allows you to use HTML, CSS and JavaScript as an application that sits inside a WebKit wrapper . So either that license is false or Apple doesn't know. Which I doubt. So somehow NimbleKit is getting around it. All LÖVE needs to do is the same thing. Since it's not like LÖVE w...

Re: LÖVE on Android?

The PSP is getting an XBLA and iPhone App Store style "anyone can create a game" development... kind of... whatever "PSP Minis" turns out to be. And developing a LÖVE game for the iPhone/iPod touch would be perfectly fine as long as the application that is submitted is a LÖVE run...

Re: 0.6.0 Update

I agree, the MacBook motion sensing is awesome and provides some serious gameplay potential - even if a laptop is a bit more awkward to manipulate in a 3d space than its younger cousin, the iPhone. As cool as motion sensing is, though, it's a pretty limited feature - only people with certain kinds ...

Re: LÖVE on Android?

Of course anything can be ported, but we need developer tools to do that, and, most importantly, we need the libs we use to run on the platform. I have the development tools, but I don't have the knowledge to do it. lol And if the libraries can run on Mac OS X they can definitely be ported to iPhon...

Re: 0.6.0 Update

I want a 64-bit OS X version that can still run on 32-bit and PPC in a Universal Binary. Instead of just a 32-bit/PPC binary. Do you have a 64-bit Mac to compile one on, anjo? Or is it 32-bit only because you don't have a C2D? Not that it matters. Would a 64-bit version of Löve for either OS even ma...

Re: LÖVE on Android?

Would be nice. Personally, I'd löve to see the LÖVE runtime ported to all the portable consumer devices. Android, iPhone, WebOS on the Palm, the new PSP thing. Even the Xbox. Create an XNA based runtime plugin that would accept a .love file. Think of the possibilities. Your LÖVE game on a HDTV. And ...

Re: My Zelda style adventure engine (DEMO COMING 09/09/09!)

The Beatles box set is coming out 9/9/09 and it's already leaked to the Internet, why can't this :( Because only I control the code. And there ain't gonna be any leaks. oh but it is ;) Nice try, and nice joke, but when it does come, it won't be called "zeldaleaked". Because it's not Zelda...

Re: My Zelda style adventure engine (DEMO COMING 09/09/09!)

But you must! You must wait 5 more days.

Currently, the game uncompressed is 1MB. Compressed it is 385KB. I assume that means I'll be able to attach it here.

Re: My Zelda style adventure engine (DEMO COMING 09/09/09!)

I'll have to post some simple documentation on how to use it. But remember that it might change over time. I moved from a proprietary scripting system and a parser to an "include" based system that loads in actual Lua files consisting of table inserts. This allowed me to do more calculatio...

Re: My Zelda style adventure engine (DEMO COMING 09/09/09!)

Yes, you read that right! That's right. On 09/09/09 I will release whatever I have as an Alpha to try out. That's less than a week to tweak things and make it look all pretty. It will probably be 0.5.0 compatible so keep that in mind. I will update if I end up making any 0.6.0 progress. But for now...
