I like Open Hexagon myself, and this game forces players to have more focus on the rhythm aspect. Looking forward to this rage-inducing release!

Have you tried using bloom shader on this ?
I think the result would be pretty awesome.
LoveDebug- A library that will help you debug your game with an on-screen fully interactive lua console, you can even do code hotswapping :D

I haven't looked into shaders yet, because my laptop doesn't support them.
But I will soon!

Most interesting 'simple play' game I've seen. I'll pick it up on release (likely for Android). :)

How will selecting the quadrant work with those rotation animations?

At the moment the quadrant selection works as follows on android:
To select a quadrant you will have to touch outside the biggest square, in one of the four corners of the screen.
Directly touching the square won't work because it would be too easy.

The touch control scheme makes most of the game somewhat easier I think - but it makes it harder with rotating animations.
When the game starts to rotate, you have to force yourself to keep on touching the same positions on the screen, even though your eyes suggest that your fingers are not placed correctly.

Unless you buy the game at a plattform that doesn't support all the systems, purchasing quadrant will give provide you with mobile and pc versions of the game. (I think it's stupid to have to pay for the same game twice, especially if porting is as easy as with LÖVE)

In any case, I'd always recommend playing it on a big screen as well, with a nice soundsystem - It's something entirely different than playing on mobile :)

I really like how the whole game progresses and gets much harder not by speed, but by the atmosphere messing you up. I could picture this being a fun "Pass the Phone and see who can get the highest score at the party" kind of game, and you totally have my interest. I'll vote when I get back on steam :awesome:

Good luck on Greenlight!
