been looking through and considering using HUMP... I got Git, been using the bash but... I'm confused, I don't know how to actually download HUMP much less use git.

And if you want to use Git to get it, underneath the description and website link, it says:
HTTP | Git read-only | https://github.com/vrld/hump.git | This URL has Read-Only access

Now, to get it, run

git clone https://github.com/vrld/hump.git

It will download all commits and put them all in a folder called hump.
