Please release the new version.

Post by Kuromeku »

You must be nearing completion, I want to make some serious games and I'm finding it really hard to use this fantastic engine without in-game physics and decent audio.

Thanks.

Why must we be nearing completion? Admit that you base that statement on nothing. For your information, the physics code was recently scrapped, and I just started over a few weeks ago. (Reason: library change).

The new audio module is in the planning stage and generally way back in line.

Either be patient and accept that this software is still early in development, or GTFO.

You're fucking friendly. Don't turn into Garry Newman cause I'll be pissed off.

You've got something good here, don't ruin it by being a jumped up cunt.

Ahem. Yes of course. What I meant to say was: "How nice to see that users anticipate future releases!" etc. Seriously though, love.physics is progressing and should be done in not too long.

Better? :D

(Oh, and who is Garry Newman?)

Lol, sorry to jump at you.

Garry Newman created Garry's Mod a popular Half-Life 2 based game. He's a cunt. He knows everyone loves his mod and uses it to be an asshole.

I know you're not like that, sorry.

Someone needs to learn some manners.

Have you ever coded a 2D LUA basic Graphic game engine? I'm betting you haven't, because it's fucking hard work, and I'd assume Mike and rude have lives of their own on top of that.

Sit down, shut up, and wait. And say "thank you" when you get it.

Seriously the nerve of some people.

Yes, I have.

I made my own Mod for the Source Engine (Half-Life 2) and implemented server, shared, and client side Lua into it. A long with a usermessage system and networked and global variables.

It also has hooks, modules, and game types. The whole thing is very similiar to Garry's Mod.

It's still in development. Don't jump to conclusions little boy.

I feel like I've come a little late into this discussion, but here's my two cents: We're working on it, damnit!
Anyway, I second that URL request. I love mods...

It's not released at the moment, but here is the Lua directory from it so you can get an example of what it is like so far.
