Like I mentioned here: http://love2d.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f ... t=30#p2849 I've been working on some kind of shadow system. I've got to the following state today: ( Yes, that's Kudomiku's game "Wrath"

I'll add directional lighting so you can also set an angle, and some kind of fading to set the max view distance.
And I need to add edge-detection to circles :P

Here's WRATH + my shadows + surtic's shadow
Dunno why It hides all the text tho, it should be drawing before all the HUD :S

Updated, now it checks if shapes are in range of the shadow area... So we can skip stuff that's outside the viewable circle :P
