Re: Konami Code
AFAIK, there was one game that had that code, and other games started copying that, as a sort of pop-culture reference, and now it's pretty much legendary. Sort of like xyzzy.BlackBulletIV wrote:So those things had the "Konami code" in certain places did they?

Do you recognise when the world won't stop for you? Or when the days don't care what you've got to do? When the weight's too tough to lift up, what do you? Don't let them choose for you, that's on you.

Re: Konami Code
Aaaah don't provoke me further! I was thinking in a way to make it easy to capture codes in general. Not only the konami code. Street Fighter's Hadoukens too. But I will NOT do that.Lafolie wrote:How about the Löve code?kikito wrote:damn. I now want to make a library to make it easier to capture the konami code.

Yet.
When I write def I mean function.
Re: Konami Code
I'm really tempted to give the spambot a rep. xD
But really, do it man! It's just a sort of buffered list I'd have thought. Capturing strings of input and comparing it. Tables. Input. Codes....

True, the temptation was strong! I think it is better to implement it as a tree of states. Here is my code https://github.com/miko/Love2d-samples/ ... odeCapture (sample uses keys as well as mouse buttons).Lafolie wrote:I'm really tempted to give the spambot a rep. xD

This could be used for in-game commands (like "menu", "quit" etc).
My lovely code lives at GitHub: http://github.com/miko/Love2d-samples
