Here's a little tech demo I have for a first person lo-fi dungeon crawler I worked on for the now finished TIGSource Assemblee competition (great site, check it out if you're not familiar).
This demo lets you wander around the garden, read gravestones, and what-not. Most of the work has been on the infrastructure. Very much a work in progress, but I like how it's all coming together. Probably doing some code refactoring later today, work some object oriented paradigms into there.
TO DO:
===========
NPCs and monsters
Combat mechanics
Inventory
Game content
So I need to pad my source images up to powers of 2 in width and height? Heh, I remembered reading about this but hoped nobody would have an issue with it.
If that's the case, I'll update the art with the next release.
I got a bit lost on intersections, thought. You might want to consider putting an arrow on the minimap showing the direction the payer is facing, in addition to the player's position.
